Check out the band, Portugal. The Man.  Their music is a funky blend of groove tunes, soul music and a bit of everything else throw in for good measure.  Their album, In the Mountain, in the cloud has been the soundtrack to my summer, laid back, chilled, but with a dollop of upbeat to dance to should you wish.  They have a new album out just now called, Evil Friends.
