I dress anyway I please and quite often, depending on my mood, I can look like I belong to various different groups. In other words, some people would look at me and automatically put me into a box and guess, simply from how I am dressed, what kind of music I'm into. I like this - sometimes anyway - aspect of fashion and music almost blurring. I could be on a train in my smart suit and shirt off to start an honest days work and be listening on my ipod to Pantera. I don't look like a metalhead but people judge all to quickly.
Most of the time I have to say I do dress exactly like what I am - 'a wee rock chick' (this according to my boss at work). So after my previous post about how much I love Alison Mosshart and her entire look I am now focussing on my self, selfish and conceited, perhaps, but I love rock 'n' roll and I love the fashion that goes with it.
My looks:
Rock Chick
How I usually dress, to work, to gigs, just out and about. Covers a wide range of fashion looks and musical genres and tastes. This look usually involves the staple band tee and a pair of skinny jeans, converse boots and a blazer to top it off. Music: Led Zeppelin, David Bowie, Nirvana, Green Day, any rock band you can think of.

Punk Princess
Very similar to the rock chick but add a few more accessories and maybe something ripped, add a few patches and so forth. Music: The Clash, Blondie, Siouxsie and the Banshees and any punk band you can think of.

Rock-a-billy chick
This one I love because I get to wear my crisp shirts, drainpipes, braces and maybe even a tie if I feel so inclined. All in a nice suit with rolled up sleeves Also this look can be totally girlie, which I have to admit is part of the fun and looks damn good. Music: Eddie Cochran, Chuck Berry, Roy Orbison amd just about any 50's act.

Goth-a-billy chick
This is a new one that I saw on the Beyond Retro blog but I had to include it because it just looks so amazing and very close to how I quite often dress. Check out their blog and website for amazing quality vintage clothing and looks. Music: a mix of punk, rock and 50's cool.
